Diagnosis
You want to edit BOM group &V1& for functional location &V2& in plantV3. you entered the valid-from date v4.
You cannot edit the BOM group on this date, as the BOM group is notvalid on &V4&.

System Response
The system checks the valid-from date of the BOM header.

Procedure
Please find out the validity period of the BOM group.
To display the entire validity period, proceed as follows:

• Choose Functional loc. BOM -> BOM group -> Display.

Delete all entries in the validity section of the screen by enteringthe special character "!" at the beginning of each field.

• Choose menu option Goto, function More -> Variant
overview.
You see a list of all existing variant BOMs of the selected BOM groupwith their validity periods.
