SAP Message 29682 - Multiple BOM / variant BOMs already exist

Diagnosis
You have changed one of the following indicators in the modificationparameters:

  • Mult. BOM inactive

  • Variant BOM inactive

    • System Response
    The system checks the technical type of allexisting BOMs.

    Procedure
    You see this warning message because multiple BOMs or variant BOMs arealready maintained.
    Before you set this indicator, check these multiple BOMs or variantBOMs.
    If you set one of these indicators, you can continue to maintainexisting alternatives and variants.
