Diagnosis
One of the following situations triggered this error message:
RESET N1
The BOM is allocated to more than one plant. Different discontinuationdata is defined in the different plants via the discontinuationindicator in material &V1&.
You want to enter a discontinuation group.
You want to enter a follow-up group.

Procedure
1.)
Check the material master records in the different plants. Define thesame discontinuation data in all plants.
2.)
You can only enter a discontinuation group if the discontinuationindicator in the material master record (MRP 3 view) has the value 1(main material to be discontinued) or 3 (subordinate material to bediscontinued).
3.)
You can only enter a follow-up group if the discontinuation indicatorin the material master record (MRP 3 view) does not have thevalue 1 (main material to be discontinued).
