Diagnosis
On the initial screen you chose function Goto --> Newitem --> 1/2-line. As you did not enter an alternative, butmore than one alternative exists, the system does not know whichalternative you want to enter new items for.

Procedure
You have two options:
In the alternative field, enter the required alternative and choosefunction Goto --> New item --> 1/2-line again.
Press ENTER. You see a list of all the alternatives. Select thealternative for which you want to create new items.
Choose function Goto --> New item --> 1/2-lineagain.
