SAP Message 29262 - Different BOMs for configurable material & exist in plants & and &

Diagnosis
You want to allocate the BOM for a material that was configured withreference to configurable material &V1& in plant &V2& to plant &V3&
However, different BOMs for configurable material &V1& exist in plantsV2 and v3. for this reason, you cannot allocate the bom to theplant.

Procedure
If you want to allocate the configured material to plant &V3&, theconfigurable material must have one BOM in both plants. You mustdelete the second BOM.
To do this, proceed as follows:

  • Check the BOMs for the configurable material in plants &V2& and &V3&.
    • Decide which BOM plant is relevant to both plants and which BOM youwant to delete.
    • Delete the BOM from one of the plants (change mode).

    • Allocate the BOM for the configurable material to the plant in which
      • you deleted the BOM.
      • You can now link the BOM of the configured material to the plant you
        • require.
