SAP Message 29208 - Material & only exists in plant & -> allocation not possible

Diagnosis
You want to allocate the BOM for material &V1& to an additional plant.This is not possible, as there is only a material master for thismaterial in plant &V2&.

Procedure
Before you can allocate a material to the same BOM in different plants,the following requirements must be met:

  • The material whose BOM you want to allocate to an additional plant must
    • have a material master in the plant concerned.
    • All component materials of the BOM must also have a material master in
      • the new plant.
