You entered a unit of measure for the component or variable-size itemquantity which is not defined.

System Response

• The system checks the unit of measure you enter against settings in
Customizing (Global settings -> Units of measurement). This tablecontains all the units of measure which are defined in your system.

• If you also entered a material, the system also checks whether the unit
of measure you entered is the same as the unit of issue or base unit ofmeasure defined in the material master.

• If the item is a variable-size item, you can also enter the unit of
measure for "piece" on the item overview or the item detail screen.(Variable-size item unit of measure.)

Procedure
Please check your entries.
Delete your entry for the unit of measure.
If you entered a material as an item, either the unit of issue (ifthere is one) or the base unit of measure from the material master isautomatically displayed in this field.
If you did not enter a material as an item, the unit "piece" isautomatically displayed in this field.
