Diagnosis
You want to enter a BOM item with item category &V1&.
Options set via Customizing (BOMs) determine which items can be enteredfor each BOM usage.
As item category &v1& is relevant to plant maintenance, but plantmaintenance items are not supported for the BOM usage, you cannot enterthis item category.

In order to enter an item with item category &v1&, choose a BOM usagefor which plant maintenance items are supported.
