Diagnosis
You want to display original data of an application.
Settings in Customizing (Document management -> General data ->Application) define whether each application can be displayed and/orchanged, depending on the data carrier type.
The document has an application which cannot be displayed on a computerof your data carrier type.

Procedure
Ask the person in charge of document management whether an entry needsto be made in Customizing for displaying this application.
