Diagnosis
You want to create a document and have entered a numeric documentnumber.
This number is not within the external number range &V2&, which isdefined via settings in Customizing (Document management) for thisdocument type.

Procedure

• Check in Customizing (Document management -> Control data -> Document
types) which number ranges are defined for the document type.

• Choose a number which is within the number range for the document type.
