Diagnosis
You want to change or display a document, and have entered the specialcharacter "*" in the Document field.
This character is not supported for a document number in thisprocessing situation.
If you are creating a document:
If settings in the IMG support internal document number assignment forthe selected document type, you can enter the special character"*" at the beginning of the field. The system thenassigns the document number internally.
