Diagnosis
This error can occur when importing or exporting documents using thetransport system or when shutting down a file server. In these cases,programs on the file server must be executed by the R/3 System.
When these errors occur, the connection to the file server cannot beestablished or was terminated during program execution. Possiblereasons for this are:

• The RFC destination &V1& used for the connection is not configured in
your system or is not configured correctly.

• The computer which is acting as the file server is not switched on or
the web server has not been started on this computer.
The subsequent error message contains more specific information.

System Response
If the error occurs while importing documents, no document contents areimported onto the file server involved.
If the error occurs while exporting documents, no document contents areexported from the file server involved.
If the error occurs while shutting down a file server, this can lead toan incomplete (but harmless) exit from the program on the file server.

Procedure
If the error occurs while importing documents, the relevant import mustbe repeated when the cause of the error has been analyzed andeliminated.
If the error occurs while exporting documents, the relevant export mustbe repeated when the cause of the error has been analyzed andeliminated.
In all other cases, the situation should be automatically resolved bythe relevant systems.
