Diagnosis
For payments that consist of only checks, payment cards, or postalorders or a combination of these, the payment amount must not be smallerthan the amount received. In this case the system does not determine achange amount.
For payments with a cash portion, in the case of an overpayment thesystem determines a change amount.

System Response
The system refuses the payment.

Procedure
If, for payments that consist of only checks, payment cards, or postalorders or a combination of these, you want to post the overpayment onaccount, for example, you have to transfer the total of the amountsreceived as the payment amount (double-click on the payment amountfield). In the payment assignment (post in dialog), you can select howmuch you want to clear in total. You can then post the difference onaccount.
