Diagnosis
Period keys &V1& and &V2& are in different period chains.
This error is due to incorrect Customizing for periods, or due to anerror in Customizing that is based on periods.

Customizing for Periods
You enter periods in Customizing with the following information:

• Period key


• Dates that define the period


• Previous period that was directly before this period. Using the previous
period, you can define consecutive chains of periods.

Example
A period chain is defined with annual recurrence. This chain consists ofthe years 2006 and 2007, where 2007 directly follows 2006:

The following definition is for a quarterly period chain. The chaincontains all periods between the first and fourth quarters of 2006.
