SAP Message >0846 - Balances in local currency and transaction currency are contradictory

Diagnosis
The balances in transaction currency and local currency have no unique+/- sign. The following are affected:

  • Company code &V1&

    • IF &V2& NE ' '
    • Ledger group &V2&

      • ENDIF

      System Response
      Error message, the document cannot be posted.

      Procedure
      If possible, enter the local currency amounts directly so that thebalance in local currency has the same +/- sign as the balance intransaction currency.
