Diagnosis
The following constellations can lead to an error message:

• Credit for withholding tax belonging to document item &V1& &V2& is to
be cleared without the line items themselves being cleared.

• A greater clearing amount was shown for credit for withholding tax
belonging to document item &V1& &V2& than the item itself.

System Response
The posting is rejected as it cannot be correct.

Procedure
If you want to write off credit for withholding tax because line itemV1 v2 has already been paid in full, you must deselect field wtincoming payment when processing open items.
If the system automatically selected the open items, contact yoursystem administrator.
