SAP Message /SAPPCE/PNV038 - First enter an end date in the project definition

Diagnosis
If you create or change a construction progress report, the postingdate of the construction progress report document must lie before theproject end date.
There is no end date entered into the project definition.

System Response
The system does not allow you to edit the construction progress report.

Procedure

  • Enter an end date in the project definition.

  • The check is implemented in the default implementation of the BAdI
    • definition /SAPPCE/PNV in method CONSISTENCY_HEAD_CHECK. If you do notwant this check you can create your own BAdI implementation.
