Functionality
The attributes of the characteristics of an instance are read. Theattributes are returned to various, optional tables. Depending on theapplication and the attributes required, some individual tables can beignored. The attributes are divided into three groups:

  • Basic information about the characteristic

  • Information about the format and the characteristic value

  • Document information

    • If the CHARACTERISTICS table contains characteristic names, the systemonly evaluates these characteristics.
