Functionality
This function module is a component of the unified shipment interface ofICM version management. It consistently inserts the imported versions ofa version object. Individually, it does the following:

  • It compares the imported transport entries with the currently active
    • object versions.
    Versions for which there is an equivalent transport entry remainunchanged.
    Versions for which there is no equivalent transport entry areended.
    Transport entries to which no version corresponds are inserted asnew version.
    • Transport entries are deleted.
