Functionality
The function module prepares the balancing postings for the interestpenalty.
It takes into account the different characteristics of the interestpenalty posting. The carryforwards to the next period are stillcalculated, if there are appropriate characteristics. At the term end,carryforwards are not calculated. Instead, the whole interest penaltyamount is posted.
The function module takes only calculation results into account from thecurrent period and cannot be used for periods that have already beenbalanced.
