Functionality
This method executes a COMMIT WORK command. It is required fortransactions developed outside the SAP system that change data in theSAP system by using BAPI calls.
When you call BAPIs in your program that change data in the SAP system,you must then call this method to write the changes to the database.

Notes
Messages are returned in the parameter 'Return'. The documentation forthis parameter contains the return values and their meanings.

Use the method BapiService.TransactionRollback to prevent changes to thedatabase being committed.

Error messages for the method.

Value range
There are not any messages if the parameter WAIT is not set or it isset to SPACE. If the COMMIT WORK command is not successfully executed,the system crashes.
If the parameter WAIT is set to a value, the following error messagemay be returned:

E S&101 Posting could not be carried out

Description
The default value of this parameter is SPACE. If the parameter containsthe value SPACE or it does not contain a value at all, then a simpleCOMMIT WORK is executed.
If the parameter WAIT contains a value other than SPACE, a COMMIT WORKAND WAIT command is executed.
