This note summarizes the Internet Explorer 10 limitations and system requirements that are known in the area of Web Dynpro ABAP and Java, SAP GUI for HTML (integrated ITS), Enterprise Portal HTMLB End Users, BSP, Portal Administrator, SAP Interactive Forms by Adobe, BI (BEX Web), NetWeaver Business Client for HTML (zero footprint) and Visual Composer runtime and design time.

SAP always assumes that you have applied the latest patches for a given NetWeaver SP. SAP always assumes you have installed the latest updates of Internet Explorer 10. For a list of the known bugs (not complete) and corrections see related notes.

SAP supports Internet Explorer 10 with the required minimum SP and the latest patches or corrections.
You can find browser support information in the Product Availability Matrix: http://service.sap.com/pam. Please note the required minimum SP, which contains necessary updates for the browser support. Note that information about the browser support for other SAP products might differ from NetWeaver.
Restrictions (see also main IE note)
IE10 on Windows Modern UI is not supported.
IE 64-bit versions are not supported in general (esp. plug-in based scenarios)Remark: This does not mean, that Windows OS 64 bit is not supported! (in contrary, it is recommended). Remark: You may switch off 64bit mode by deselecting "Enhanced Protected Mode" in IE - per defualt it is deselected)
IFrame restriction: In an Iframe, IE can only render documents modes of the top-level page engine. Either IE9 engine document modes (IE9-11) or IE8 modes (IE5-IE8).
In Web Dynpro Standards Mode Rendering (only available in newest NetWeaver versions) hidden Input fields with the visible size of "0" appear with the size="1".
