Summary :
This SAP Note provides guidance on starting, stopping, and initializing SAP liveCache at the operating system level using scripts. It details use of the function modules START_LIVECACHE_LVC, STOP_LIVECACHE_LVC, and INITIALIZE_LIVECACHE_LVC, which now require scheduling jobs through the SAP system since the program STARTRFC is unavailable in RFC SDK from NetWeaver Release 720 onward. Alternatives are provided, including creating specific SAP events and functional job scheduling in SAP, as well as utilizing SAP connectors like SAP Java Connector (SAP JCo) or the SAP Connector for Microsoft.NET.
