Summary :
In the SAP environment, Web Application Designer (WAD) graphics fail to display post installation of BW front end 30A patch 7 or 30B patch 1, showing the error: 'Internal error with communication with the IGS'. This issue arises from incorrectly created BLOBs that store settings for chart Web items within templates. The problem affects version 168, while versions 166 and 170 remain unaffected. A resolution is provided through the BW 3.0A Frontend Patch 08 or BW 3.0B Frontend Patch 02, which corrects the BLOB creation issue. Users are advised against editing and saving templates with chart Web items until applying the patch to prevent irretrievable data loss. For immediate issues, the file wdbpwpub.exe can be replaced with its corrected version (rev.170) available on sapservX or overwritten manually on local PCs.
