Summary :
The latest release of SAPDBA can be sourced from the SAP Service Marketplace by accessing http://service.sap.com/informix, as FTP download from sapserv is discontinued. It's imperative that users download the appropriate CAR file and deploy it to /usr/sap//SYS/exe/run. Operating under NT, the files SAPDBA and CHILD4US must have their ownership set to Informix (chown informix:informix), and executables should have the s-bit set (chmod 6755), excluding permissions for the 'others' group. The distribution includes both 32-bit and 64-bit binaries for various platforms including AIX, Solaris, HP-UX, and specific versions for True64 and HP-UX Itanium. Additionally, remember the 64-bit infcfgcheck tool provided within the CAR file.
