When using SAP GUI's Office Integration, an empty Excel window problem occurs when Excel 2007 SP2 or higher versions are used to open a macro-containing document in-place. The issue, identified from changes Microsoft implemented in Office SP2, persists in all subsequent Excel versions. Despite SAP's efforts, Microsoft has not altered their implementation. Solutions include displaying Excel documents as outplace, upgrading to Office 2010 or higher, or removing Office 2007 SP2.
