Message SAP B1008 - Mandatory segment & in message type & cannot be filtered

Diagnosis During segment filtering in the ALE layer, a segment of type &v1& wassupposed to be filtered from an IDoc with message type &v2&. However,this is not possible as the segment is marked as mandatory in the IDoctype. Mandatory segments contain essential IDoc information and cannotbe left out. Procedure Check the configurations for the segment filter in ALE Customizing, oruse transaction WE30 to check the definition of the IDoc type.
