Diagnosis
To flag a telephone number as SMS-enabled, exactly one of the pagerservices that is defined in Customizing as an SMS service is flagged.If this is not the case, short messages cannot be sent to this numberand the indicator 'SMS-enabled' is of no use.

Procedure
Contact your system administration team and ask them to make thenecessary settings in Customizing.

Call transaction SA14 to assign the use "SMS Service" to the pagerservice that you want to use for sending SMS messages.
