Diagnosis
Generally speaking, the item quantity is equal to the total scheduleline quantity.
The total schedule line quantity may not equal the item quantity whenmore than one schedule line exists and the item quantity has beenchanged by the configuration.

Procedure
You can only configure a material on item level, not on schedule linelevel.
You can choose from one of the following ways to correct your data:

• Adjust the schedule lines in such a way that the total schedule line
quantitiy matches the item quantity.

• Reconfigure the item and transfer the total schedule line quantity to
the Reference Characteristic
of the item quantity.
&ATTENTION&
If you save the order without first having adjusted your data,the system overwrites the item quantity with the total schedule linequantity.
