Enter a work area that has been maintained in the target system inCustomizing for the Engineering Workbench (menu path: Production-> Basic Data -> Engineering Workbench -> Process Work Areas)
The work area must meet the following requirements:

Routing headers
Sequences
Operations
BOMs
Items
The work area contains:
Routing header
Sequence
Operation
Suboperation
PRT
Inspection characteristic
Special inspection characteristic specifications
BOM header
Item
Subitem
Component assignment
