Diagnosis
You tried to create or change a bill of material (BOM) or a routing.This is not possible because at least one of the fields FixedScrap First Length or Fixed Scrap Last Lengthcontains a value. These fields must be blank for the length calculationmethod that you selected.

System Response
The system deletes the values from the above fields and changes theirstatus to not ready for input.

Procedure
To use these fields again, you have to select a different lengthcalculation method.
