The function module takes the Sales and Production Figures formaterials and product groups from SOP, takes into account the openingstock levels, material contingents and fixed buckets and executesplanning steps defined in the strategy under consideration of certainparameters. The result of the planning is a set of production figures,a problem identification list and Plan Attributes that relate to thecurrent planning run.Notes
If in the SOP CONTROL BLOCK the single planning flagis set, it is only allowed to manipulate the materials throughplanning, that are contained in the SOP KEY FIGURES TABLE. Neverthelessthe Buckets in the FIXED BUCKETS TABLE shall be fixed. If the singleplanning flag is not set, it is allowed to manipulate every materialthrough planning. The Buckets in the FIXED BUCKETS TABLE shall still befixed. request
The planning actions defined in the SOP CONTROL BLOCK shall be executedlike one planning step.
In the OPENING STOCK LEVELS TABLE are only materials contained, thatare also contained in the SOP KEY FIGURES TABLE. If for one of thesematerials no record is contained in the OPENING STOCK LEVELS TABLE, theopening stock level shall be zero.
The MATERIAL ALLOCATION TABLE contains only materials, which are lowestlevel materials in the BOM or Rough Cut Planning Profile. If a lowestlevel material is not contained in the MATERIAL ALLOCATION TABLE itshall be defined as infinitly available.
If the planning action definition is empty, then the value fields forthe SOP Key figures in the SOP KEY FIGURES TABLE are also empty, aswell as the OPENING STOCK LEVELS TABLE, the MATERIAL ALLOCATION TABLE ,the FIXED BUCKETS TABLE and the PLANNING PARAMETERS TABLE. In thiscalling mode it is only required to return the current productionfigures for the periods, that are specified in the SOP KEY FIGURESTABLE, which contains a record for each requested period. In additionto this the PROBLEM LIST TABLE and the PLAN ATTRIBUTESREPORT TABLE arerequired to be filled. |
