Functionality
The data required for posting is taken from the detailed data for thecalculated interest and charges and saved in the database. Thecorrection amounts are calculated for the correction periods, forexample, minus debit interest, and plus debit interest.
In addition, an event is called in which the customer can add morebalancing postings (for example, sales tax).

Notes
However, no postings are made in this function module. Postings are madeonly once all periods for the account have been calculated. Therefore,the situation can never arise whereby the result of a correction periodis already posted but not the current period if an error has occurred.
