Functionality
Use this method to upload language-specific message records into theR/3 System. These language-specific variants are used to output the XMIlog in the logon language of the R/3 user.
If an external program writes a message in the XMI session log, theEnglish standard version of the message is included in the log. If thelog is assessed (using Transaction RZ15 or a read operation by theexternal program), the R/3 System tries to replace the standardmessages with language-specific variants. If the user has logged ontothe system in English or if no translation of a message has beenuploaded, the system outputs the English standard text.
Since the system always displays a text, messages only need to beuploaded if the external program is to support displaying messages inother languages than English.

Value range
MSG_NOT_LOGGED_ON: You have not logged onto the R/3 System.
MSG_CANT_LOG: The action had to be terminated because the R/3 XMIlogging mechanism reported an error.
MSG_CANT_UPLOAD: An error occurred when transferring data into the R/3System.
MSG_PROBLEM_DETECTED: A problem occurred in an XMI function module thatis not directly connected to the XMI functions. The problem wasprobably caused by a called function module. Examine the R/3 System logto analyze the problem.
MSG_INVALID_PARAMETERS: The parameter specifications to be slotted intothe message text were invalid. For example, the type specified may notoriginate from the type list.
MSG_CANT_LOG_ACTION: The action had to be terminated because the R/3XMI logging mechanism reported an error.
