Functionality
You can use this method to select the MRP list of a material.
Depending on the control parameters of this method, the followingMRP lists for the material can be determined:

  • MRP list for operative planning:

    • Requirements planning
    Master production scheduling
    • MRP lists for long-term planning

      • The method selects the specified MRP list and displays the details(lines in the MRP list) beside theheader of the MRP list in the desired display type.
      The following display types are supported for the detailed output:
      • Detailed display of the MRP elements

        • The detailed display includes all planning-relevant parametersfor all MRP elements that were considered during the last planning.
        • Individual line display for the MRP list (default setting)

          • The individual line display contains the information related to theindividual line display of the corresponding dialog transactions forthe display of MRP lists.
          • Period totals display for the MRP list

            • The period totals display contains the information related to theperiod totals display of the corresponding dialog transactionsfor the display of MRP lists for the required periodization.

                Parameter dependencies

                • In systems with MRP areas that are not active, the parameter
                  • Plant must be entered in addition to the parameterMaterial.
                  • In systems with active MRP areas, the parameters
                    • Plant and MRP_Area can be entered as required.
                    • If only the parameter Plant is filled, the MRP list of the
                      • plant MRP area for the material is selected.
                      • If only the parameter MRP_Area is transferred, this method
                        • delivers the MRP list of the specified MRP area.
                        • If the parameters Plant and MRP_Area are filled, a
                          • compatability check is performed, which means that a correspondingerror message may be output, if necessary.
                          • The parameter Vendor_No should only be used in conjunction with
                            • a display filter Display_Filter. By filling both parameters, theresults of the MRP list can be restricted to the MRP elements of asingle vendor.
                            • The parameter Display_To should only be used in conjunction
                              • with a display filter Display_Filter. By filling both parameters,the results of the MRP list can be restricted to the MRP elementswithin a specified display horizon.

                                  This parameter can be used to transfer long material numbers. Thesenumbers can be up to 40 characters long.
                                  To be able to use this parameter you must activate the switch for thebusiness function LAMA (long material number) in the system.
                                  The business function LAMA is available as a component of the businessfunction set for DIMP.
