Functionality
The planning data from Merchandise and Assortment Planning is readusing a planning data request ID for externalapplications. The planning structure must show the characteristicsassortment, material and time.
You can limit the selection by specifying a planning period and eitheran assortment or a category. If you enter a category, all theassortments in this category will be considered.
The BADI WPLG_MAP determines a valuation index from the key fields andcharacteristics of the planning structure, according to which theexternal program carries out the optimization.
Shelf placement data from the accompanying layout module(s) is added tothe planning data. For placed materials that have a different categoryfrom the assortment list, the system sets an indicator in the exporttable.

Example
The function module WPLG_LAYMOD_MAP_ITEMS_DISPLAY calls the BAPI. Youcan display the results list using transaction WSUP.
