Functionality Using this method, you import profile values transferred in thePROFILEVALUES> table into IS-U-EDM. To do this, you must specifythe value you want to import, as well as thepoint of delivery> andcode for identifying a profile value>. You must have created a profile header allocated to a point ofdelivery. This in turn must have been allocated to a register with thespecified code number. The profile to which the profile values are imported in IS-U-EDM istherefore identified using the point of delivery and the code number ofthe register. This method enables you to transfer profile values to differentprofiles by transferring the profile values for the different points ofdelivery or code number in the PROFILEVALUES> table. Alwaysensure you transfer the profile values of a profile in the correctchronological order.Notes Messages are returned in the RETURN parameter. Description In this parameter, you can transfer additional information on theupload. You can enter data in the following fields:
- External reference (EXTREFERENCE>)
Field for an external reference number. This number is then adopted inthe log for the profile value transfer.MEANING& This table contains all profile values to be imported into IS-U-EDM. The table contains the following fields:
- Point of delivery (PoD) (POINTOFDELIVERY>)
The PoD must correspond to the PoD of the corresponding IS-U registerallocated to the profile for which values are to be uploaded.
- Register code (REFERENCENUMBER>)
The register code must correspond to the IS-U register code.
- Role category of profile allocation (PROFROLETYPE>) (optional
>) The role category enables you to define the profile for which valuesare to be uploaded. The role category must correspond to the rolecategory with which the profile was allocated to the register. The role category is an optional entry. If you do not specify a role category (or role), the role categoryMeasurement> is used. You only have to enter a role category or role if you want to uploadvalues not measured by a register.
- Role of profile allocation (PROFROLE>) (optional>)
The role enables you to define the profile for which values are to beuploaded. The role must correspond to the role with which the profilewas allocated to the register. The role category is an optional entry.
- From-date for profile value (DATEFROM>)
- From-time for profile value(TIMEFROM>)
- Offset for from-time (FROMOFFSET>)
Here you enter the time difference (date and time) for UniversalCoordinated Time (UTC) Example: Date specified in Central European Time (CET) 25.03.2000 23:15:00 +01 (winter time) 26.03.2000 10:30:00 +02 (Summer time)
- To-date for profile value (DATETO>)
- To-time for profile value (TIMETO>)
- Offset for to-date (TOOFFSET>)
- Profile value (VALUE>)
- Profile value status (STATUS>)
You can use the following as profile status values: 01 - valid value 02 - estimated value 03 - implausible value 99 - missing value
- Unit of measurement of profile value (UNIT>)
