Functionality
You can activate an InfoSet with this function module. Enter the nameof the InfoSet. To make an activation possible, an InfoSet must beavailable in the M version (modified, saved on the database).
Messages that occur when activating are returned to the internal tableRETURN.

Description
Name of InfoSet to activate.
Prerequisite: The InfoSet must exist in version M.

Description
Return parameter of method. The return parameter informs you whether thecall was successful or unsuccessful.
The most important error messages refer to:

• no authorization to change the InfoSet,


• error activating InfoSet (error in structural definition, error creating
dictionary and database tables and so on). In this instance, you receivean in-depth error log (RETURNTABLE).
