Functionality
You can use this BAPI to assign a higher-level functional location to afunctional location.
You can use the VALID_FROM_ISO parameter for the measurement readingtransfer of a higher-level functional location. However, this parameterdoes not describe the installation/dismantling time of the higher-levelfunctional location. It contains a time stamp consisting of date andtime. This time stamp is used to determine an exact time when fillingthe parameter. As of this time, a measurement reading transfer from thehigher-level functional location takes place.
This BAPI does not change the data origin of the fields. This meansthat, after assigning a higher-level functional location, no fields aretransferred to the functional location. If you want to transfer thefields of the higher-level functional location to the functionallocation, use BAPI BAPI_FUNCLOC_INHERIT_CHANGE.
After each call of the BAPI, perform a COMMIT WORK AND WAIT, so that theassignment is written to the database.
