Functionality
You can use this method to read additional partner numbers for abusiness partner.
The additional partner numbers for a business partner consist ofan identification number category and thecorresponding identification number. Withadditional partner numbers you can read numbers identifying thebusiness partner that are of a more technical nature, such as businesspartner numbers from source systems.

Notes

Authorizations
If an authorization object is entered for a business partner under authorization group, then the system checks theauthorization object B_BUPA_GRP with the activity03 (display). If the authorization is available then the systemchecks the authorization object B_BUPA_RLT withthe activity 03 (display).
You can make settings for business partner authorization objects to bechecked in Customizing for the SAP Business Partner underBusiness Partner-> Basic Settings-> Authorization Management.

Dependencies
The methods proceed as follows when reading the additional partnernumbers:

• If you select an additional partner number with a
business partner number, then the system reads alladditional partner numbers.

• If you select an additional partner number with a combination of
identification number category and identification number, thenthe system determines one business partner number for thiscombination for which the additional partner numbers can bedisplayed.
(Prerequisite: The identification number categories must beunique, that means that the flag cannot be set for the indicatorsMultiple Use of Identification Number and Multiple Use ofIdentification Number Category in the IMG activity SetIdentification Number Category.)

You make settings for additional partner numbers in Customizingfor the SAP Business Partner for Financial Services underSettings for Financial Services -> General Settings -> AdditionalPartner Numbers in the following IMG activities:

• Define Identification Number Category


• Set Identification Number Category

In addition to the additional partner numbers there are alsoidentification numbers for the SAP Business Partner. You can usethese to store business identification numbers for the business partner,such as identity card numbers.
