Functionality
With this function module you can change the central attributes of abusiness partner.
In addition you can enter information for changing address-independentcommunication data for the business partner in the following tables.

Once the existence of a business partner has been checked, the newattributes entered are checked for their consistency or for Customizingsettings.
Negative checks are logged and output in the RETURN table. If one ormore negative checks occur/s, no change is made to the business partnerattributes, and an error log is output.

Description
Use this parameter to control whether the message type is E or W duringa duplicate check, meaning an error (E) or a warning (W). No furtherprocessing is carried out if it is message type E.
Only the values E for error and W for warning are permitted.
If no value is specified, message type E is taken as standard.

Deadline by which the business partner is to be maintained (if SAPbusiness partner time-dependency is active).

Description
Addresses returned to this table are considered to be similar or thesame as the record being created. The field ADDRNUMBER contains theaddress number of the address that is similar/the same. If it is apersonal address, the field PERSNUMBER is filled with the relevantperson number.
The field PERCENTAGE contains the percentage of probability of theaddress record being a duplicate, provided the duplicate check toolsupports this function.
