Functionality
You can use this method to create a subsequent Basic Pay record(0008).
Example:
An employee receives an 'assembly bonus' as of 01/01/1997.
You can use the CREATESUCCESSOR method to create a subsequent BasicPay record (0008) for this increase on 01/01/1997. The subsequentrecord contains the data of the previous record, only the 'assemblybonus' wage type still has to be added.
The previous record is delimited on 12/31/1996.Notes
Messages are transferred to the RETURN parameter. The relevantparameter documentation contains the return values and their meanings.
