Functionality
This function module was generated from object BUS1003 andmethod CREATESUBSTRUCTURE for BAPI calls by ALE.
The function module is executed in the outbound system. First itconverts that data from the BAPI parameters to IDoc format. Then theIDoc is sent to the relevant recipient, where the BAPI call occurs.
The interface of the function module contains all outbound parametersof BAPI function moduleBAPI_HIERA_CREATESUBSTRUCTURE,plus the following parameters, which are used in the ALE layer.

  • SERIAL_ID

    • This input parameter contains the channel number, andis only used if serialization is active.
    • RECEIVERS

      • This parameter contains the names of logical systems(recipients), where the BAPI call occurs.
      • COMMUNICATION_DOCUMENTS

        • The return table contains the name of the logical system in the LOGSYSfield, the object type in the OBJTYPE field, and the object key in theOBJKEY field. It shows that an object of type IDOC was generatedwith this key for the logical system.
        • APPLICATION_OBJECTS

          • The input table contains the objects of applications that are processedwhen the BAPI is called. In the LOGSYS field, enter the name of thelogical system where the application objects originate. The applicationobjects are identified by object type OBJTYP and object key OBJKEY.They are linked to outbound IDocs.
